I never, ever knew how much I love you.

Frozen water, old trees. City streets, winter light.

Bridges. So, many, bridges.

My first fiction story was set in Sharptown, on the Nanticoke River, in Wicomico County on Maryland's Eastern Shore. I had never actually been there and I lived in Annapolis when I wrote it.
The second fiction story I ever wrote was set enroute on 50 eastbound from Annapolis to Ocean City.

It featured lots of bridges: Kent Island over the Narrows, Vienna over the Nanticoke, Cambridge over the Chop, Ocean City over Assawoman Bay.
They are all love stories, to you.
Who knew?
