Dudes, soooo much snow. Talk about shell-shocked: schools were closed yesterday for the second day in a row and I ran back to work anyway, just to see a real human face. (That was four days I was home alone sick and then another for snow. Which I prayed for!) Even for this queen of take time to yourself, six days was too much. I was forced to accept A Lot. I have no doubts, I got what I needed, and when the snow came I even went out to make snow angels and revel in the reminder: there is always at work a far larger flow. (When we forget will she ever remind us!) And I am always in the process of fighting it and so fighting myself, or surrendering to it and so letting go into steady movement with the groove.
I've never been ashamed to admit I'm a fighter. It's just tough sometimes to really see the one I'm fighting is always that image right there in the mirror...

I'm still by the amount of snow you folks got. I expect to get that kind of mess out here in the Midwest.
Has it melted yet? We received a whopping 0.5 inches here. Today, you wouldn't know it. It's 73 degrees, and everything's all green 'n stuff.
The South is strange like that.
You guys it was craay-zee a foot of fricken snow the third day of March--closed schools in my county for three days!!--then by Friday people were in t-shirts washing their cars and cruising with the tops down. And yes, beautiful green everywhere today! I am basking in it like a cat warmed by the sun with not a damn thing to do...!
