I discovered TedTalks indirectly a few weeks ago when Erika sent me this link, and directly a week later at the first writing gathering I went to here in Easton.

This is so fabulous, a talk that really encompesses so many of the late night talks I've had with folks like Walsh or KRuss or Brooks. The idea of the Duende is in here, and of Ego and Narcissism, of Genius and The Impulse and The Calling and The Tribe, and the shadow and its various instincts and results...all those fabulous things that compel me when the sun goes low and the dark time is here....And Poetry!! Listen to 10:18 on about Ruth Stone the poet! Holy hell o sacred impulse. Get a cup of coffee or glass of wine and settle in.
