I just realized that I wrote the following in a facebook message to a friend tonight. She and I haven't seen one another since summer:
i am finally getting that alone time/retreat i always wanted just for me. lately i am looking on this time with my heart wide open, so aware that i will look back on this as one of the most precious times in my life.
Wow. Who woulda thought my retreat, that deep alone time I knew I needed, was meant to look like this?
